The AR-15 rifle is one of the most popular rifles in the world. It first appears in Madness Combat 6.5 held by a 1337 agent who was shot down by Deimos. The AR-15 also appeared in Incident: 100A with an M203 grenade launcher attachment. After finding one in a box, Deimos used it for the rest of the animation.

It appears in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic) with stats similar to those of the M-416 but with a faster rate of fire. Both are inferior to the TAR-21. It is commonly the sidearm of a Soldat, along with several other submachine guns.

The weapon reappears in the sequel, MADNESS: Project Nexus. It comes with a 30 round magazine much like other rifles in the game, and may come with the original barrel, a sawn-off barrel or an M16 barrel, while having a collapsible stock.
