The Automag V is a .50 caliber pistol first seen in Madness Interactive. It can hold 14 rounds and can kill a grunt with just one shot to the body. However, due to a glitch, it only fires automatically and would lag when attempted to fire semi automatically.

It is also a usable gun in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic) since update 1.7. Unlike its Interactive precursor, it has become semiautomatic and now only holds 7 rounds. It is one of the slowest, but among the most powerful handguns in the game. Its stats are similar to the Desert Eagle.

The weapon makes its first animated appearance in an animation in SACRIFICE.fla, wielded by an A.T.P. soldat and seized by Deimos to bludgeon said soldat to death with it, and goes on to kill 5 more enemies before the weapon is depleted. Deimos caused it to have an ejection failure when the soldat fired it by grabbing the pistol's slide while redirecting it towards the ceiling.

The Automag V appears again in Madness Combat 9.5 with an attached barrel weight. In this episode, the pistol is used, again, by a soldat. He fires at Hank, who deflects the shots with a Billhook machete, killing two Agents. Hank then disarms the soldat and the handgun is not used afterwards. The weapon is notably powerful, similarly to other high-caliber handguns within the series - its shots leaving large wounds, as well as bending and breaking a machete.

The weighted handgun returns in Madness Combat 12: Contravention, where a large-size version is used by a Half Mag Agent. While the weapon does visible damage, with its shots managing to break holes in a platform, hitting two dead bodies, as well as a melee smash destroying an Engineer's body, the weapon does not achieve any kills. It is dropped after Sanford cuts the Half Mag's hands with a Megachette.
