The flyssa is a traditional Algerian sword. It debuts in Madness Combat 11: Expurgation, which for several years was its only appearance. Then, on one of his streams Krinkels drew a new version of the flyssa sprite, to fit with the current art style of the series. Flyssa would then be featured in Madness: 2d/3d Test, as well as the upcoming An Experiment 2.

Madness Combat 11: Expurgation[]
In Madness Combat 11, a flyssa appeared in the hands of a Tricky skeleton who was quickly killed by Sanford's painstick. Shortly thereafter, Sanford picked up the flyssa and used it alongside his painstick to kill several more skeletons until he tried to throw it at Tricky.
An Experiment 2[]
As seen in one teaser screenshot, Flyssa is going to appear in An Experiment 2.
Madness: 2d/3d Test[]
Flyssa is used by one Agent in this short. He swings the sword at Hank, who evades the attacks and kills the agent shortly afterwards with a punch and a billy club smash.
