Generation chart from DarkSignal
Generations are a concept introduced in MADNESS: Project Nexus. In the MADNESS: Project Nexus universe, all Nevadeans are of some generation, specifically how old they are and how they fit into Nevada.
There are 6 known Generations of Nevadeans.

-The Deliberator, whose goals are unknown.
-The Conductor, whose goals are unknown.

Generation 03 Limited Model[]

Krinkels on MAGs and G03LMs
Generation 03 Limited Models (G03LMs for short) are bigger than the earlier generations. They are made out of several bodies and equally mismatched S-3LF energy. It's unknown what their learning capabilities are, but it's implied that they aren't as smart and capable of learning as G02s.
In The Rush, it is revealed that G03LMs were made in purpose of being someone's personal servants by Nexus Core. They could do the heavy lifting, wash your dishes, do the laundry, etc. Their voices also display a degree of civility, likely due to said role as a servant. Despite being older models, they were created in mass and sold to many different factions accross Nevada until the fall of Nexus Core.
After the fall of Phobos, the NEXUS Core repurposed them to guard the Science Tower.

Generation 04[]
Generation 04 grunts are all clones, specifically clones of G01 and/or G02. They are easily programmable and malleable [1], but lack much of the learning ability from G02s[citation needed]. Most Nevadeans have become G04s by the time Project Nexus takes place and come in many different varieties, from common citizens that got cloned to the hulking MAGs. Most of the NEXUS Core is G04[citation needed], and may have been cloned from multiple templates.

- All Half Mags [1].

- All of Nexus Core science team.
- All Unfinished Mags.
Generation 05[]
Generation 05, or Robots, are the latest Generation of Nevadeans, in the form of bipedal robots. They lack a S3LF and are easily programmable, and have the inability to learn from their surroundings unlike other generations. They include the NEXUS Conduits, Liftbots, Crusherbots, and Robo-Butlers. The Generation 05 was made by Dr. Gonne.[citation needed]
Other[]
These are the instances of beings that do not apply to any specific Generation, ranging from being raised back from the dead or simply being too abnormal to qualify as a specific Generation.
- Skeletons: Spawned by Tricky during Madness Combat 11 with the use of the Halo. Their properties and relation to S3LF is unknown.
- Ghosts: those who have, after dying, become dissolved into the Other Place. However, their S3LF is so strong that they have resisted complete absorption. This has the resulted in Dissonance Energy completely corrupting their S3LF, attacking anyone and anything they see.
- Zeds: alternatively known as Zombies, are the result of Enmeshment on a corpse, trapping the S3LF inside the body so it doesn't leave after death. They have the utter inability to learn anything. The only known examples of a Zed that can think and act like a normal Nevadean are Tricky the Clown/Dr. Hofnarr and Mr. M. (See Zombie for more info)
- Retainers: also known as Wardens, are the guardians of the Other Place. They function as Jailers, keeping S3LFs from escaping and watching over them. It's unknown if they were created specifically for the Other Place or were originally Nevadeans hand-picked by the Employers to guard it. Only one Retainer has been seen so far, tasked by the Auditor with keeping Hank inside Hell.

1 - Krinkels says: half mags are literally just bigger dudes, g4s are more malleable like that. retainers are just trained, bigger dudes. consider the jump between your plain jane grunt and say, an agent or engineer.
