Discovery[]

Before the events of Dr. Christoff's betrayal of the Nexus, the Nexus Core was running an Arena Combat program in order to train a test subject to their fullest capability. Through these vigorous training sessions, the Nexus was able to discover S-3LF.

S-3LF is effectively one's own soul, their identity, their thoughts and experiences. S-3LF, however, is just not a physical thing, but rather a concept. It can also be one's own potential to grow, to learn, to become stronger through their experiences. Thus, characters that have little to no free will or are "programmed", such as the A.A.H.W., have minimal to nonexistent S-3LFs.

Dr. Christoff refers to Subject 1v02P_6 as the "Original S-3LF," implying that the Arena Combat program would later be used as the basis for Project Nexus.

Usage[]

S3LF tracker -1

A S-3LF tracker which tracks S-3LF. Uses binary. 00 could either be Employers or G1. The stats could either mean accessibility or how many of them are in the other place. If 00 is the Employers, this may suggest that Doc can extract 2 Employers. If 00 is G1, we can assume it is the player and an unknown S-3LF (presumably the Artifact).

S-3LF energy is seen to have a variety of uses. The Nexus Core in particular use it as an energy source to power factories, cities, or whatever else they may need.

Vessels can also be used to house S-3LF, essentially allowing one to place a consciousness into a cloned shell. This process is known as Enmeshment. Subject 1v02P_6 is the only known example of this.

S-3LF in the Other Place is also trackable as seen in Madness Combat 9.5 by Doc.
